I went to test drive a 2015 F150 with 170k miles listed at 14,900 on their website. I test drove it, loved it, read the Carfax and noticed something odd. First owner had the vehicle for 10 years the second owner had it for 10 months and only drove it 3k miles, I asked if there was a reason owner 2 had decided to trade it in, after a lot of hemming and hawwing they told me they were require to disclose that the vehicle has an “oil pan leak.” Oh, no big deal, right? Wrong. The 2.7L eco boost is prone to what they’re calling an “oil pan leak” but the leak doesn’t come from the oil pan itself, it comes from failed synthetic gaskets all over the engine, it’s a massive repair that requires dismantling the engine block and the lead mechanic technician tells me would cost $2,800 for them to fix. Yikes! Financing this 14,900 vehicle plus the 2,800 repair plus taxes and fees puts me at a $20,000 truck for a vehicle that is prone to other engine problems even if the leak is fixed because it had been driven for a year or more with problems. The financing professional for the location was laugh after they hard checked my credit, which I said I was nervous about without my husband present, saying he thought there was no way they’d finance for under a 10% APR (because of the inflated sales price.) During all of this they also let slip that this truck has been sitting because nobody will purchase after their disclosure and they even were shipping it around the surrounding states trying to find any possible buyer. They tried to rip me off. I had an oil change and they said my alignment was off. I needed sway bars front/back then alignment. This is not true, i had the alignment done 3,500 miles ago and the sway bars are fine. You don't need an alignment with sway bars. Monica could not answer my questions. Poor.

I went to test drive a 2015 F150 with 170k miles listed at 14,900 on their website. I test drove it, loved it, read the Carfax and noticed something odd. First owner had the vehicle for 10 years the second owner had it for 10 months and only drove it 3k miles, I asked if there was a reason owner 2 had decided to trade it in, after a lot of hemming and hawwing they told me they were require to disclose that the vehicle has an “oil pan leak.” Oh, no big deal, right? Wrong. The 2.7L eco boost is prone to what they’re calling an “oil pan leak” but the leak doesn’t come from the oil pan itself, it comes from failed synthetic gaskets all over the engine, it’s a massive repair that requires dismantling the engine block and the lead mechanic technician tells me would cost $2,800 for them to fix. Yikes! Financing this 14,900 vehicle plus the 2,800 repair plus taxes and fees puts me at a $20,000 truck for a vehicle that is prone to other engine problems even if the leak is fixed because it had been driven for a year or more with problems. The financing professional for the location was laugh after they hard checked my credit, which I said I was nervous about without my husband present, saying he thought there was no way they’d finance for under a 10% APR (because of the inflated sales price.) During all of this they also let slip that this truck has been sitting because nobody will purchase after their disclosure and they even were shipping it around the surrounding states trying to find any possible buyer. I told them I had to leave and discuss the deal with my husband, though they tried to convince me to sign on my own. The next day I receive a notice by email called a risk based pricing notice basically alerting me to the fact that this is a BAD DEAL. After a few calls of them trying to bully me I get them to admit that they had allowed this truck to be used as a trade in not know about the oil leak and then tried to push the cost of their mistake onto me, the buyer.
